About Foot and Ankle Associates of Central Arkansas

Dr. Alex Dellinger founded Foot & Ankle Associates of Central Arkansas in 2003 in order to provide a clinic that focuses on compassionate, comprehensive foot and ankle care.

The staff of Foot and Ankle Associates of Central Arkansas welcomes you to our website. All of our surgeons are Diplomates of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, as well as Certified Wound Specialists, working toward the common goal of providing the highest standard of care for your family.

Our Doctors


Dr. R. Alex Dellinger

Dr. Alex Dellinger graduated from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, he attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Following graduation, he completed a 24-month surgical residency with emphasis in comprehensive foot and ankle surgery as well as diabetic limb salvage. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is past President of the Arkansas Podiatric Medical Association, and in 2014, was appointed by Governor Mike Beebe to serve on the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and being a pilot.


Dr. Calvin P. Britton, III

Dr. Britton is an Arkansas native born and raised in Hot Springs. Undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco in 1989. While obtaining his degree in podiatry, he spent one year at the Los Angeles County and University of Southern California Medical Center. He completed a surgical residency at the Mountain Home VA Medical Center in east Tennessee. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a former Chief of Podiatry at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.


Dr. David Kiessling

Dr. Kiessling graduated from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a three year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. His residency training included extensive exposure to reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. His training also involved comprehensive management of diabetic foot pathology, including both conservative and surgical modalities. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, is board-certified in foot surgery and is a certified wound care specialist. His professional interests include reconstructive foot surgery and management of diabetic foot disease.


Dr. Alexandra Buk

Dr. Alexandra Buk received her bachelor's degree in biology from Rutgers University. She graduated in 1994 from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, and went on to complete a 2 year surgical residency at Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey. Since 1996 Doctor Buk has been practicing general medical and surgical podiatry in central Arkansas. She and her family are happy to call Little Rock home. Doctor Buk is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is an active member as well as past president of the Arkansas Podiatric Medical Association. In her spare time Doctor Buk volunteers at local free clinics. She enjoys dance and fitness, and is happiest when near a large body of water!


Dr. Jame Pierce

Dr. Jame Pierce is from Northeast Arkansas and obtained a B.S. in Zoology from Arkansas State University before attending the Dr. William M. Scholl School of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago in 1997. Dr. Pierce completed her first residency at J. A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa specializing in general podiatry and followed that with a one-year surgical residency at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago. After spending a couple of years in private practice in Florida, she decided to come back home and served as the Chief of Podiatry for 10 years at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock before entering private practice. Dr. Pierce is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. She enjoys giving back to the community by serving as state director of the Fit Feet Program for Special Olympics and tutoring elementary students in reading through AR Kids Read.
